FAQs

How do we get started?

Fill out the request for service form to get things started. We will use the information provided to prepare a quote to be sent to you for your approval. You will be asked to pay for the first bag, or portion there of, as your deposit. If additional bags are required your account will be charged for the balance.

How much does it cost?

Initial/Spring Cleanup: You will be charged $45 for first bag, or portion thereof, and $30 for each additional bag required. The first bag will be charged in advance as a deposit with additional bag charges as may be required billed to your credit card after completion of the service.

Recurring Weekly Cleanups: $20 for one dog plus $5 for each additional dog. Note that a discount is available for weekly mowing customers.

Note: HST will apply.

How big are these bags?

The bags are used as a liner to our dustpan that we scoop into. Once The bag is filled to the point that it gets awkward to try to scoop more into the dustpan, it is considered “full”. The dimensions of the dust pan are: width 12″/30 cm x breadth 8″/20 cm x depth approximately 8″/20 cm.

To put this in context. My two Great Danes produce about 15 pounds of poop a week and this would only half fill a bag.

How does a Scooping appointment work?
  • You will have an agreed upon date and timeframe for the appointment.
  • We will text you shortly before our arrival so that you can: make sure the gate is unlocked and pets are secured in the house.
  • We will prepare our tools and enter the space securing the latch behind us.
  • Proceed to walk the accessible portion of your backyard or designated area in at least two directions scooping as we go.
  • Collect all discovered waste in reinforced garbage bag(s)
  • Re-secure the gate latch and text you a picture of the bag(s) collected
  • Remove waste from property or place in your green bin as per your preference
  • Sanitise our equipment to limit the spread of any contaminants
  • Update our records with task completed
  • Complete any other services you are scheduled for at this time (e.g. lawn mowing etc.)
What do you mean by “accessible areas”?

We need to be able to walk to the poop to scoop it. Examples of inaccessible areas would be under decks, sheds, etc.
